Fruits of Your Leisure

Created to inspire and promote social responsibility, Fruits of Your Leisure is a winter project which allows us to support the work of local charitable organizations while honoring our mission of securing the quality and quantity of family-time. Each year, TOKOS, Inc. partners with an organization, and together we guide families toward service and volunteerism.

The inspiration for Fruits of Your Leisure came at a holiday sing-along a couple of years ago. The yearning evoked by the songs brought images of Christmas past, and surprisingly, images of summer evenings too. Some time later, we understood this was perhaps because the proverbial summer porch, like Christmas carols, is a source of joy and warmth and can evoke strong feelings. Could it be that there is a spirit of summer that is as big and as real as the spirit of Christmas? We think so! And what’s more, we believe there is room for both in the heart of every child in us.

Informed by these events, we created Fruits of Your Leisure and used Frosty the Snowman’s magic hat to develop the first year’s theme.
 

How to Participate

YOU
Registered TOKOS families are automatically eligible to participate in the project. Individuals, families, and groups are invited to join them on a first-come first-served basis.

There is no cost to participate. A donation to the organization of the year is appreciated.
